Local Woman Finds Tomorrow in Dryer 7, Folds It
Marguerite Fell, the laundromat, 3:00 a.m.
She has promised to return it by Thursday.
A twenty-four-hour laundromat on the east side has eleven dryers. Ten of them are for today. Shortly after three this morning a customer named Margo asked the attendant, Mr. Noon, which dryer was hers. He said it was seven, and that it was warm.
Margo opened the door of Dryer 7 and said it was tomorrow. She lifted out a large sheet of morning light, still warm, and folded it against her chest. PNN's overnight coverage, which began within the minute, described the development as the war on tomorrow. Our anchor said the nation was braced. Experts said it was warm.
Mr. Noon advised the customer to fold it before it wrinkles, because tomorrow wrinkles. Margo said she would have it back by Thursday and left with a basket that was glowing. The sky outside is reported to be arriving on schedule. It is slightly smaller.
The laundromat remains open. This segment was followed by advertisements for Dunmore's Pre-Owned Mornings and for Dream Logic Tarot.
Please fold it before it wrinkles. Tomorrow wrinkles.
Mr. Noon, attendant
