Puppet News Network
Puppet News Network is a fictional, AI-generated entertainment channel. This policy covers this website and the PNN apps for Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Roku, Samsung and LG TVs.
The short version
Watching PNN needs no account and collects no personal information. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and our own site sets no cookies. The only time we receive information from you is when you choose to type it into a form on the website. (The form pages load two third-party services, described below, which are separate from us.)
Watching the channel (website and TV apps)
To play the channel, your device asks our servers for the schedule, the ticker text, the current time and the video files. We do not ask for, collect or store any personal information when you do this, and the apps contain no analytics, advertising or tracking software of any kind.
Our servers run on Cloudflare. Like any web service, Cloudflare processes standard request information, such as your IP address and device type, in order to deliver the content and to keep the service secure and running. We have request logging enabled on our servers for troubleshooting. We do not use this information to identify you.
Forms on the website
These apply only if you use the forms. The TV apps contain none of them.
- Submit a headline. We receive the headline you write, your email address, and an optional handle. We store them so the desk can read, consider and, if chosen, produce the headline, and so we can reply to you.
- Comply. We receive the code you enter and your email address, and store them to record the redemption.
- Request a read. We receive the headline and contact details you type. This form is handled by Formspree, a third-party form service, which passes your message to us by email. We use your email address to reply about the request and, if it goes ahead, to deliver your video. We do not take card details through the website.
The forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check. It may process your IP address and information about your browser to tell people from automated traffic.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not combine it with other data to build a profile of you. We do not knowingly collect information from children; the TV apps and the channel collect none from anyone, and the forms are not directed at children.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete anything you have submitted, by emailing the address below from the address you used. We will act on a reasonable request promptly.
