Scientist Answers Questions Ahead of Being Asked Them
Reginald Thorne, the national desk
A satellite interview concluded before the anchor was able to end it.
Dr. Elspeth Marrow joined the programme by satellite on Tuesday evening and answered each of the anchor's questions shortly before it was put to her, including one that was not.
Dr. Marrow apologised for the delay on the line before the delay was raised, and thanked the programme for having her before the interview was concluded. The satellite window then closed. Network engineers report the line was functioning normally throughout and remains available.
Dr. Marrow has not been reached for follow-up. A request for comment was answered last Thursday.
There is a delay on the line and I am very sorry about it. Thank you for having me. Goodnight.
